She led the successful Measure GG campaign, securing approximately $3.4 million in recurring annual funding for Burlingame teachers. Now she's bringing that same drive to City Council District 3.

Practical Solutions for Burlingame and District 3
Fix Broadway and Reduce Traffic
Broadway and California Drive are Burlingame's most important gateways, used by more than 70,000 vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists daily. It's been identified by the CA Public Utilities Commission as the #1 grade separation priority in CA. Despite the dangers, this project has been delayed for too long. Besides being a serious safety hazard, commuters, residents, small businesses, and visitors all feel the impact when traffic backs up near the train crossing and spills into surrounding neighborhoods.
Jen Faber will work on a clear action plan to move the Broadway Grade Separation forward. This will include transparent timelines, responsible cost controls, neighborhood traffic protections, and proactive communication with residents and businesses. Burlingame deserves safe, reliable connections for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit riders.
Keep Burlingame Safe
Public safety starts with well-staffed, well-equipped police and fire departments, but it also means safer streets and intersections, stronger traffic enforcement, and practical solutions where residents know problems exist. Speeding, traffic circulation issues, theft and property crime in our neighborhoods and business districts are all issues residents are concerned about.
Jen will focus on safer routes to schools, better protections for pedestrians and cyclists, improved visibility at dangerous intersections, and work with Police and Public Works on stronger enforcement against speeding, reckless driving, theft, and property crime. Burlingame should remain a place where families, seniors, business owners, and visitors feel safe.
Protect Homes and Insurance
Fire safety is now part of the high cost of living in Burlingame. As fire risk grows across the region, residents need clear information about risk and prevention, practical help protecting their property, and city leadership that helps homeowners understand and use available insurance resources.
Jen will work with Central County Fire and other critical regional partners to give residents better access to home protection information, defensible-space guidance, fire-safe landscaping resources, and insurance education and resources. Burlingame must help residents understand what they can do before they face a crisis, a cancellation notice, or a surprise price increase.
Support Businesses Across Burlingame
Burlingame's retail economy is a community gem. Broadway, Burlingame Avenue, Rollins Road, neighborhood-serving businesses, day care centers, restaurants, hotels, auto dealers, commercial offices, and businesses along the bayfront should be included in economic policy discussions at City Hall.
Jen will work to strengthen the relationship between the City, the Chamber of Commerce, small businesses, hotels, corporations, and local employers. That means communication during construction, smarter parking and access planning, less confusion for business owners, and a city government that makes doing business in Burlingame easier.
